Welcome to Depth & Design - where artistry is intentional, education goes deeper than technique, and creativity is something you learn to trust.

The Founder

Depth & Design began in 2020, during a time when I was still figuring out what I wanted my own path to look like.

What started with lashes grew into something much bigger than I could have imagined. Over the years, I built my clientele, developed my own approach to lash artistry, and became especially drawn to the details that make a set feel completely individual - texture, dimension, balance, eye shape, styling, and the small creative decisions that can completely transform a result.

But the name Depth & Design represents more than the physical design of lashes.

My background in psychology has always shaped the way I see people, creativity, and education. I wanted to build a brand with depth behind it - one that values individuality, intention, authenticity, and continued growth. A space where clients can feel seen and where artists can learn without feeling like they have to fit into one specific mold.

As my own artistry evolved, so did my passion for education. I realized I didn’t want to simply teach someone how to apply lash extensions. I wanted to teach artists how to understand what they’re doing, why they’re doing it, and eventually develop the confidence to make those decisions for themselves.

Depth & Design has grown alongside me, and education has become a natural extension of everything the brand was created to represent.

5+ years of hands-on experience as a professional lash artist, building Depth & Design from the ground up
Licensed lash artist and educator with experience training and mentoring both beginner and developing artists
Specialization in wispy, textured, wet, and customized lash styling, with an emphasis on creating designs around the individual client rather than relying on one-size-fits-all maps
A B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy, which continues to influence my approach to teaching, mentorship, communication, and personal development

Our Teaching Philosophy

We believe becoming a great lash artist takes more than memorizing a few lash maps or completing a certification.

It takes practice, curiosity, problem-solving, repetition, and time.

That’s why education at Depth & Design is intentionally hands-on and personalized. I want my students to understand the foundations deeply enough that they don’t have to depend on someone else’s formula forever.

We don’t just teach you what to do. We teach you how to understand why you’re doing it.

You’ll learn how to look at eye shape, natural lash structure, layers, direction, texture, density, and proportion, and use those details to make intentional styling decisions of your own.

Because eventually, I don’t want you asking, “What map am I supposed to use?”

I want you to be able to look at the person in front of you and confidently decide for yourself.

Whether you’re beginning with our Intro to Lash Artistry Beginner Training, refining your technique through The Art of Wispy Styling Masterclass, or receiving individualized guidance through 1:1 Mentorship, the goal is the same: to help you become a more knowledgeable, confident, and independent artist.

What Makes Depth & Design Different

Education beyond technique:
Learning lashes is only one part of becoming an artist. We also talk about the realities behind building a business: client experience, content, branding, confidence, problem-solving, and finding your own direction within the industry.

Intentional, hands-on learning:
Trainings are kept intimate so there is space to ask questions, make mistakes, receive real-time feedback, and actually understand the concepts being taught.

Artistry over formulas:
Lash maps can be helpful tools, but they shouldn’t limit your creativity. You’ll learn the principles behind styling so you can adapt your work to different eyes, natural lashes, preferences, and aesthetics.

Professional materials:
Students train with professional-grade products and tools that reflect what is actually used behind the chair.

Support beyond training day:
Learning doesn’t suddenly stop once you receive a certificate. Students have continued access to guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to return for additional support because confidence is built through practice, not overnight.

A space to develop your own artistry:
Depth & Design isn’t about creating artists who all work exactly like me. It’s about giving you a strong enough foundation to discover how you want to work.

More Than Lashes

At its core, Depth & Design has always been about becoming more intentional in our artistry, our businesses, and the way we grow into ourselves.

There is technical skill in this industry, but there is also creativity, psychology, connection, discipline, experimentation, and self-trust.

My own journey hasn’t been perfectly linear, and I don’t believe yours needs to be either.

You are allowed to evolve.

Your artistry is allowed to change.

Your business is allowed to grow with you.

And you don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
